From what I have heard, the Viewloader eVLution 1 sucked the big one. Oh, how far they have come. I’m going to start off by saying I have owned a HALO version A, and it cost me $200. Not only did I have one of the IR beam “eyes” fall out my first day using it, but it fed no faster than my 12 volt Viewloader Revolution. I paid $150 for my eVLution 2 at a local field shop called “Paintball Action Games”, and it was worth every penny. I have yet to chop a ball due to a high rate of fire. It has the new J-VON flex impeller, and it works great. It follows the path of the previous loaders before it in the sense of using two nine-volt batteries, instead of 6 AA’s in the HALO. One of the selling features to me was the fact that you can adjust the rate at which the hopper feeds through an exterior POT located next to the on/off button. You turn it on, the red LED flashes once. You turn it off, the red LED flashes three times, so you know when you’re turning on, or off.

The only thing I do not like about this loader is the lid. I have had a lot of trouble opening and closing it, nothing a little filing of the nubbins at the top and bottom of the door can’t fix.

Over all I would give this loader a 9/10, why you ask? Because nothing is perfect, and this is the closest loader to perfection to date.
